A long-time favourite in Subi, considered the “best cosy café in Perth”. Moroccan tapestries and artwork compliment the Mediterranean cakes and treats. Friendly staff and quick service with generous portions. You cannot help but love the quirky interior while sipping some great coffee.
THE LION & JAGUAR
A handy little coffee spot in Subi Square near the train station and Woolies. Fresh juices, iced tea and even cold drip coffee along with a creative varied menu. Casual atmosphere. Add the friendly smiling staff and it will make your day!
BLACKLIST COFFEE ROASTERS
A newly opened concept store with a cool vibe and modern décor. Amazing high quality coffee with a big range of filter coffees and speciality brews. You can order your takeaway coffee in the usual way or for real coffee lovers, try the great value coffee tastings to find your favourite. Their baristas are knowledgeable and welcoming. No food – it’s all about the coffee.
PSYCHOMUG
In this café they know the importance of a good cup of coffee. The almond flat whites are sensational. Try your coffee in a skull mug or in a cone! Checkout the wall murals and décor inspired by the movie. The baristas are terrific and the background music adds to the experience. Locals call it spiritual, cute, quirky and beautiful.
ALLORA PERTH
Plenty of seating, fast service and highly rated. If you are a regular, chances are the staff will remember your name. Consistently good coffee and delicious food on the simple menu. Just try one of their toasties!
THE CAT CAFÉ PURRTH
Now here is something different. Yes you can have coffee with some feline friends! The cats are well looked after by the staff and customers love the chance to interact with them. Now this top rated funky coffee spot is a little hard to find. It is a treasure worth searching for. Amazing coffee in a warehouse type space off a public carpark. Savoury muffins, tasty treats, specials on Fridays and professional, accommodating and knowledgeable staff.
PITCHER AND IRON
If you are after the best waffles in Subi – in fact the best in Perth – you must come here! Try the light and crispy Carnival Brussels waffle or the Apple Crumble Leige….. just exceptional. You can see the care taken in the preparation and beautiful presentation of their waffles. Of course, there’s a good range of coffees and teas and tea based lattes. A little Subiaco gem which the locals list in their favourites.
BREW-HA THE RITUAL
The friendly ambience has made it popular with the locals and cycling groups. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. A nice selection of simple, enjoyable sweet and savoury food. The coffee is superb with a big range of international blends. Open late afternoon to 5.30pm too.

Opened only early this year and already rated 5 star by all who have visited. Small but delightful. Fresh and tasty sweet and savoury treats, each made in house. All the cakes are just divine.
